I found a article where a man claims he can change silver into gold with 4 car batteries ,3/4 ounce of fine silver, sulfur, and Cinnabar,he calls it Cold fusion,do you think its possible? I found it on the internet called "transmutation recipes for making gold"
No, not that way. It’s some kind of scam or he’s delusional.
But transmutation has been done using radioactivity, and of course as uranium decays it becomes lead, for example. The catch is that if you could contrive to produce gold you would lose money because the energy costs would be greater than the product’s value. So forget it.

I would say it is not.

Alchemists have tried all through the middle ages to make such a conversion. They were not successful. It has been a dream of all the ages. This scheme is nothing more.

No way that that mix can change silver into gold.
You can only transmute via nuclear reaction, such as neutron irradiation [U238 to Pu239 for example].
WHile it IS possible to transmute other elements [well, some of them] to gold, it is not cost effective, and I do not think it ever will be.

Maybe its still unknown
